...an old fashioned family owned diner on Main Street of downtown Lake Zurich. It is said to be in business at least since 1951 if not earlier. I lunched there today with a friend. Stuffed Pepper Tomato Soup and Egg-Salad on toasted marbled Rye bread sandwich; delicious. We were served by a friendly waitress with a broad smile. It is a small, clean low ceiling establishment displaying black and white photographs from 1920-1930.
It still uses 1950s Bar stools and Milk-shake maker.
It is quaint.
It is Americana!
